Hotel Seasons is a new hotel near the city centre of Amsterdam. Within walking distance of one of the major entertainment areas, the Rembrandts Square, the Flee Market, the Heineken Brewery and the famous Albert Cuyp Market, Hotel Seasons makes a great base for exploring the city. In addition to this, the city's museums are in the direct vicinity of the hotel.

The hotel is brand new and fits all the latest requirements of a 3-star hotel. All rooms have their own private bathroom and are also equipped with a flat screen plasma TV.

The hotel is equipped with wireless internet throughout the building. Furthermore, the hotel has 10 paying parking places which cannot be booked in advance.

Hotel information

Hotel Seasons’ staff aim to make sure you have a pleasant stay and can provide information on the many excursions through the Amsterdam canals. There is a 24-hour reception. You can find a vending machine with snacks and drinks in the lobby.

Food & beverage

Every morning a continental breakfast buffet is served between 07:30 and 11:00. You can enjoy the fresh coffee, tea, juices, bread, boiled and scrambled eggs.

The district where the hotel is situated, is the perfect location to find bars, pubs and restaurants for lunch or for dinner and drinks in the evening (e.g. the Albert Cuypstraat). You can also walk to the Rembrandtplein, Waterlooplein or Leidseplein which are in the close vicinity.

All rooms have private bathrooms, flat screen TV, hairdryer, safe, and tea and coffee facilities. Irons and ironing boards are available on request.
Hotel Seasons has 45 rooms spread over 6 floors which can all be reached by lift.

Hotel Seasons is close to the Museum Square (Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum and Stedelijk Museum of Modern Art), Carré (main theatre), the Leidseplein, Waterlooplein and the Rembrandtplein with a huge variety of restaurants, bars and cafes.
The major shopping streets (including the well-known P.C. Hooftstraat), the cinemas and the theatres are also in the close vicinity.

The hotel was secure with someone at the desk at all times-even if they didn't pay attention to who walked through the door!

It was a bit of a walk from downtown-but not bad. Parking is atrocious and both the parking garages nearby were filled up. We had to park at the hospital, a 20 minute walk away.

The room environment

The breakfast is delicious. But it will be too standard as i eat the same food for breakfast everyday for 5 continuous days.

The breakfast was quite nice, although the breakfast area is quite small.

Our room seemed quite small (even though we were upgraded from a standard double to a larger room). Also our room didn't seem as clean as it could've been with a clear lack of attention to detail. Compared to other hotels, Hotel Seasons are definitely sub-standard.I Wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Staff is very friendly and helpful

Only issue was my room was exceptionally hot - as it gets some solar gain, shouldn't be a problem in cold weather though.

The location, close to the Dutch central bank and lots of public transport.

The bed sheets and the room in general could be cleaner. The rooms located on the lower floor should have metal bars on the windows. In my case, during the night, a group of local teenagers either kicked the window or tried to open it from the exterior. If you're looking for a hotel room where you feel safe do not stay at one of the bedrooms in the lower floor.

Upon arrival I was told there was no room available. I was then sent to Hotel Valken instead. Unfortunately my room was next to the breakfast room, which was extremely noisy from 6am .

Unable to sleep due to early morning noise
